Box Score Mykah Berkompas paced the Chaparrals on Tuesday night against Waubonsee, scoring 16 points on three 3-pointers, and Katlyn Allen and Marquita Gardner each added 10 in the Chaps' 95-59 loss in NJCAA Region 4 basketball.
 
The Chaps (0-3 overall) are at home Friday night when they play Wilbur Wright. Tipoff is 5 p.m.
 
Berkompas was 5-of-16 from the field. Allen dealt a team-high five assists and Makenna Brown led in rebounds with 11 and scored eight points.
 
Jessica Ponce added nine points and Nya Jones six to completed the Chaps' scoring.
 
Waubonsee led 45-20 at halftime.
