Box Score Makenna Brown led the Chaps in scoring with 22 points, including hitting all 10 of her free throw attempts, and teammate Mykah Berkompas added 21, but visiting Oakton proved too much in its 101-68 victory at PEC Arena on Thursday night.
 
The Chaps, now 0-2 overall, are at Waubonsee on Tuesday.
 
COD, which never led, trailed 23-16 at the end of the opening quarter. The Chaps closed to within three of the lead (31-28) before the Owls extended their lead on an 18-8 run to close the half.
