Gibson, Anderson lead Chaps in 83-75 setback

Sierra Gibson scored a team-high 27 points and Savannah Anderson added 15, but host Prairie State pulled away in the second half and handed the Chaps an 83-75 loss in Region 4 women's play Thursday night.

The Pioneers, who trailed 34-32 at the break, scored 51 second-half points for the victory.

Iwiyisi Osaghae and Teegan Roach each scored nine points for COD (2-5 overall), which next plays Tuesday night at home against College of Lake County.
