COD improved to 8-3 overall entering Tuesday's home game against College of Lake County. First pitch is 2 p.m. Morton fell to 5-6.

Milatovic's big day
The No. 9 hitter in the Chaps' lineup, Milatovic entered the day hitting .231 in 13 at-bats with three RBI and one extra-base hit. In the sixth, he was the fifth batter and delivered a two-run shot over the left-field wall. Then with the bases loaded and two outs, he came through again with a grand slam. He was 3-for-6 (a single in the fourth) and improved his season batting average to .316.

Big bats all day long
COD hit eight HRs on the afternoon with
David Marshall also supplying a two-run HR afternoon. Marshall finished 4-for-4 with three RBI and scored five runs.
Kyle Fenner went 6-for-6 with three doubles, a two-run homer and four RBI.

Aden Aukland and
Joe Cosenza all homered for COD.
