Box Score The Chaparrals reached a 20-win season Wednesday afternoon after 9-1 victory in six innings over visiting Morton College.
 
COD, now 20-7, was scheduled to play today against Carl Sandburg, but the doubleheader was postponed due to potential inclement weather. A rescheduled date is unknown at this time.

• Kelsey Warren, Lindsey Onnezi and Carlee Baker each had three hits
• Cassie Bogacz ripped an inside-the-park home run in the fourth, and collected a two-out triple in the second
• RHP Amber Dasenbrock threw six innings, striking out five, walking none and allowing seven hits and one earned run
• Dasenbrock has not issued a walk in her last 49 innings
• The scheduled second game was called in the bottom of the first; a rescheduled date is to be determined
