Box Score No. 2 seed College of DuPage was extended to extra-innings in its NJCAA Region 4 opener against No. 6 Harper and suffered an 8-6 loss in 14 innings at COD.
 
The Chaps, now 33-16 overall, face Oakton in an elimination game at 9 a.m. Friday in Joliet.

• Lead-off hitter A.J. Taylor led at the plate, going 4-for-6 with two doubles and two solo homers
• Pinch-hitter Trey Braun went 2-for-2 with a pair of singles in the 11^th and 14^th innings
• No. 9 hitter Jake Pauley had a two-run single in the second and finished with three hits
• Down 6-4 in the eighth, the Chaps connected on a two-run, three-hit eighth to tie the game
• Back-to-back singles from Joe Cosenza and Filip Milatovic supplied the 8^th inning tie
