Box Score Visiting McHenry County took control midway through Tuesday's game against the No. 11 Chaparrals, earning a 14-6 victory in Region 4 baseball.
 
The loss dropped the Chaps to 30-13 overall.
  • McHenry, which trailed 4-2, scored five runs in the fifth and seven in the sixth
  • Jason Cousineau (single) and Aden Aukland (ground out) collected back-to-back RBI in the first for a 2-0 COD lead
  • Filip Milatovic (ground out) and Kyle Fenner (double) padded the lead to 4-1 with back-to-back RBI in the second
  • COD totaled 14 hits
  • Fenner led at the plate, going 4-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored
