Freshman Autumn Rohde tied her season-high with 10 points and Sarah Topps added eight, but the Chaparrals fell behind early in their game against College of Lake County and lost 65-44 in Region 4 women's basketball Saturday afternoon.
 
The loss dropped the Chaps to 4-11 overall, 4-9 Region 4 entering Tuesday's non-region game at home against Elmhurst JV. Tipoff is 5 p.m.
 
The Lancers (12-3, 9-3) scored the first 11 points of the game and led 20-11 at the end of the first quarter.
 
The Chaps, who trailed 36-19 at halftime, outscored the Lancers 11-10 in the third quarter.
 
Rodhe played 20 minutes off the bench, hitting 4 of 9 from the field with a pair of 3-pointers. Topps scored two treys.
 
Savannah Anderson was next with seven points and 10 rebounds.
