College of DuPage led from the outset and earned a 68-46 victory over visiting Waubonsee in Region 4 women's basketball Thursday night.

Sophomore guard
Nala Taylor led the Chaps with 16 points including a team-high three 3-pointers in a game that COD led by as many as 23 in the final minute.

COD jumped out to an 18-4 lead through one quarter, thanks to a 7-0 spurt in the final 1:50 of play. A double-digit lead belonged to the Chaps for the remainder of the game.

Madison Dubiel came off the bench with nine points on a pair of 3s.

Madeline Maracich and
Kaisje Pryor each scored eight, and
Megan Martinez added seven.
