The Chaps allowed a stretch of six straight points from South Suburban College that allowed the visiting Bulldogs to a grab a 14-13 lead with 6:51 left in the first half.
 
An SSC timeout was called and whatever Talley delivered worked in favor of the Chaps. They responded with eight straight points and dealt a 13-2 scoring run and went on to roll past the Bulldogs 76-39 in Region 4 women's basketball Thursday night.
 
COD (8-19, 8-16 Region 4) is at Olive-Harvey on Saturday.
 
The Chaps outscored SSC 50-20 in the second half and were led by 
Sierra Gibson's 25 points and seven steals. 
Teegan Roach added 11 points with eight rebounds and 
Autumn Rohde scored 10 points with four rebounds and three steals.
 
COD created a season-high 19 steals and combined for 17 assists with just 12 turnovers.
 
Six Chaps had at least five rebounds as they were led by 
Savannah Anderson's nine. She also had nine points and four steals.
