College of DuPage took control from the outset, grabbing an early lead and riding out a big advantage in the Chaparrals' 81-67 victory at Olive-Harvey in Region 4 women's basketball Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore
Sierra Gibson led the Chaps (9-19, 9-16 Region 4) with 25 points before fouling out.
Savannah Anderson, who also fouled out, contributed 13 points with 16 rebounds.

Autumn Rohde added 12 points with three 3-pointers and
Nala Taylor completed COD's double figure scorers with 10.

COD, which outscored Olive-Harvey 29-12 on turnovers, led 20-11 at the end of the first quarter and extended the lead to 39-25 at the break. Coach
Abigail Talley's lead held a 22-point lead (64-42) through three quarters.

Gibson led in steals with seven, and Rohde followed with five. Taylor dealt six assists.
