COD answered back from an early deficit , thanks to its18 hits in an 18-15 win over fellow Region 4 and D3 foe Oakton at Schaumburg's Wintrust Field on Thursday.
 
The win snapped a three-game losing streak for COD (4-6), which takes on visiting Moraine Valley at 2 p.m. Friday.

• COD scored seven runs on five hits in the sixth inning for a 13-7 lead they would not relinquish
• Hudson Williams delivered a two-run homer in the seventh
• Three batters later, Jack Wade's one-out single scored Quinn Flanagan
• Aden Aukland followed with an RBI-double and Anthony Titone answered with an RBI-triple
• Two batters later, Jake Pauley drove in Morgan on a two-out double
• COD padded the lead to 18-11 with a five-run ninth
• COD batted around in the ninth totaling three hits
• Aukland keyed the inning with a 3-run homer to left
• Flanagan and Wade each had RBIs in the ninth
• Aukland finished 4-for-6 with 3 runs and 5 RBI
• Filip Milatovic went 3-for-4 with 3 runs
• Flanagan, Wade, Titone, Pauley and Williams all had multi-hit games
• Williams totaled 5 RBI and Titone had 3
