The Chaps resumed D3 play Tuesday afternoon and were dealt a 14-4 loss in five innings at Joliet Junior College in NJCAA Region 4 play.
 
The loss dropped the Chaps to 6-10 overall as they play McHenry County on Wednesday
at COD.

• COD scored twice in the first
• Quinn Flanagan led off with a single, and scored when Filip Milatovic singled, and Flanagan later scored on a subsequent error
• Aukland gave COD a 2-0 lead on an RBI-double
• Trailing 4-2, COD tied the game with its final two runs in the fifth
• Aukland connected on a two-out double that scored Matt McBrien (single) and one batter later, Milatovic scored on a wild pitch
• Flanagan had three of the Chaps' seven hits
• Aukland's doubles were COD's only extra-base hits
• Joliet put the game out of reach with five runs in both the fifth and sixth for the 10-run rule
• The Wolves totaled 16 hits off three Chaps' hurlers
• Starter A.J. McEneany threw four innings, giving up 10 hits, seven runs (all earned) with four strikeouts
• Relievers Ryne Willard and Eddie Munson each had one strikeout
