Raena Del Angel connected on a walk-off, three run home run to lift COD to a split over visiting Moraine Valley on Sunday, losing the opener 18-10 and answering back with a 24-14 win the second.
 
COD, now 10-15, 8-10 Region 4, is at Bryant and Stratton on Tuesday and returns to Sark Park for its regular-season home finale Friday against Kankakee.
 
Earlier, COD was swept Friday at South Suburban.
 
Game 1: Moraine Valley 18, Chaparrals 10

• Leading 5-4, South Suburban took control with a nine-run fourth inning
• Yuliana Salgado homered and drove in two runs with two hits
• Lindsey Onnezi and Raena Del Angel each had two hits and drove in two runs

• COD totaled nine hits 

Game 2: South Suburban 11, Chaparrals 3

• South Suburban jumped out front early, scoring five runs in the first
• Danielle Whitman and Olivia Terek each drove in a run, keying COD's three-run third
• Abigail Collins and Cadee Baker each had two hits
• Grace Walker struck out four in 2 1/3 innings
