Danielle Whitman totaled five hits Saturday, but the visiting Chaparrals faltered in their doubleheader against Sauk Valley, losing 15-6 in five innings and 11-6 in the second.
 
COD (4-9 overall) is at Prairie State on Wednesday before returning home Friday afternoon against Rock Valley.
