th of their last 23 games, improved to 27-16 and take on No. 3 Waubonsee (21-31) at noon Saturday. The Chiefs upset No. Joliet 8-5 in Joliet.

- COD earned its second run when Hudson Williams (walk) scored on a balk
- COD totaled four runs on six hits in the third, capped by Spotofora's blast
- The Chaps scored three runs on three hits in the fourth, led by Milatovic's shot
- Mark Mennecke went 4-for-4, driving in two and scoring two runs
- Pauley, Morgan, Jack Wade, Spotofora all had two hits
- On the mound, McEneany (7-1 overall) struck out four, walked two and gave up four hits
