The College of DuPage women's basketball team traveled to Grayslake, Illinois on Nov. 11 to take on the Lancers of College of Lake County, falling 87-69 to move to 0-2 on the season.
It was a balanced offensive effort for the Chaps, with four players scoring in double figures.
Kaisje Pryor led the way with 17 points, followed by
Ayaani Gusman with 15.
Lexi Lopez added 14 points and a team-high six assists, while
Erin Brown contributed 12. Lopez, Brown, and Gusman each grabbed six rebounds to pace DuPage on the boards.
The Chaps found rhythm from beyond the arc in the fourth quarter, shooting 66% from three-point range. They'll look to build on that momentum Nov. 13 when they host Illinois Valley Community College for their home opener.
