College of DuPage dropped a doubleheader Tuesday afternoon at Triton, losing 5-2 and 13-3 in five innings in Region 4 softball.

The Chaps (14-12, 14-12 Region 4) look to snap their six-game losing streak Friday when they play host to South Suburban. The two teams met Feb. 28 in Rosemont with COD earning a 4-3 victory. The Bulldogs enter the doubleheader 9-17, 5-11.

Game 1: Triton 5, Chaps 2

• The Trojans, who led 1-0 through four innings, gained control with a four-run fifth
• Cadee Baker and Raena Angel each had two hits
• Jenna Maples and Taylor Gloms had the other two hits for COD
• Riley O'Neill and Maples each had an RBI

Game 2: Triton 13, Chaps 3 5 innings

• Cadee Baker, Taylor Gloms and Jalene Sanchez each doubled
• Gloms was the only Chap with a multi-hit game
• Raena Del Angel and Gloms each drove in a run
• COD trailed 12-2 after three innings
