The COD Men's golf team continued their fall season on Tuesday by competing in the Aurora University Double Gun Tournament at Aurora Country Club. The Chaps were the only two year school competing in the event and earned a 16th place team finish with a score of 660 for the 36 hole event.

Kyrin Abella paced the Chaps effort with scores of 73-80 for a 153 total, good for 28th place overall. Matthew Sims followed with a score of 157 which earned him a tie for 46th. Patrick Davis put together a 36 hole total of 178 while Patrick Malm and Jack Boehmke followed with scores of 180 and 182 respectively. 

Coach Jason Hyatt commented about the team performance stating " We have a lot of talent and we will get better each tournament, we just need to keep our focus at times. I am really proud of how Ky and Matt played today." 

Next up for the COD men is a trip to Randall Oaks CC for the Judson Men's Invite on Friday afternoon, Sept 5 at 12:00 Noon.
