Webster served COD with distinction in his 30 years as the men's and women's tennis and gymnastics coach, assistant football coach, assistant and head hockey coach, interim athletic director, and kinesiology professor. His tennis teams, which won the 1997 and 1999 men’s national championships, were nationally ranked in the NJCAA top-12 seven times, and he coached 128 state champions in both singles and doubles, and more than 20 All-Americans. As gymnastics coach for 14 years, he coached 60 national medalists, 30 national champions and All-Americans, in addition to earning 300 victories. He judged the U.S. Olympic Trials in 1968 and 1972, and in 1989, was inducted into the Gymnastics Hall of Fame.
